Why Good Influence?

I get to be curious, creative, and do work that helps organizations “walk the talk” of racial justice in their decision making and planning. No day at Good Influence is ever the same, but what connects all my days, projects, and clients at Good Influence is this through-line: Let’s be a good influence on the clients and communities we serve.

How do you want to be a good influence?

I want to create space, process, and structure for teams to think, listen, learn, and make good decisions collectively. I’m always working to center equity and justice, and to build the capacity of organizations to come together and move their work forward.

What makes you feel good?

Good wine and conversation, usually followed up by spontaneous dance parties in my living room. I also love going to protests with my wife and three daughters. The protests can sometimes backfire when my children—instead of going to bed—decide to stand on my coffee table chanting: “My body, my choice!” (In those moments, I am not ready for the revolution.)
